В последнее время Кировоград начал активно развиваться как туристический центр. В городе появляются милые и уютные уголки, интересные памятники, проходят музыкальные, литературные и театральные фестивали. Хорошо сохранился старый центр – можно прогуляться по нешироким зеленым улочкам уездного городка Елисаветграда, история которого началась с основания крепости св. Елисаветы в 1754 году. В архитектуре города можно встретить свидетелей прошедших эпох.

Одной из достопримечательностей областного центра стала и галерея «Елисаветград», первая частная галерея в Кировограде. Открылась в марте 2011 года. В залах галереи постоянно действует экспозиция предметов, документов и фотографий, из которой можно больше узнать о городской жизни в прошлом. Также здесь можно ознакомиться с работами профессиональных художников Украины, осмотреть персональные и тематические выставки.

В галерее вам помогут с разработкой экскурсионного маршрута, подскажут, куда зайти перекусить и где можно с комфортом остановиться.
