Georgia is one of my favorite places to explore. So, if you are heading to Georgia, renting a car or campervan gives you far more freedom, especially if you want to visit places beyond the main urban centers. Although public transport works fine in areas like Tbilisi and major towns but if you want to explore the mountain regions and state parks, it is always a better choice to hire a vehicle.

In this case, I usually rent a campervan. Yes, during my last tour to Canada, I roadsmiles.com/checked out RoadSmiles through its official site and found one of the best RVs for my trip. But I am not sure whether RoadSmiles works in Georgia. You can probably contact their customer service team for further details. Similarly, you can also hire local RVs or campervans through a trusted source. I don't think you'll miss exploring Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). It is beautiful in winter, ideal for brief stays with a properly equipped campervan. Road conditions can be icy, so planning around the weather is essential.

Some other places you must visit include Borjomi–Kharagauli National Park and small towns around the Kakheti region.
