* General requirements:
The Perl developer should be familiar with Apache web server and have experience with Perl modules like: mod_perl, CGI, libwww-perl, XML-LibXML, XML-Parser, and expat
*Knowledge of Perl DBI and external database connectivity is required
.Strong SQL skills, especially with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server, is highly desired
Experience with VMware ESX and vCenter is highly desired*
Experience with Citrix XenDesktops and XenApp is highly desired
Experience with different Linux platforms is a plus, e.g.: Ubuntu, CentOS, and RedHat
Experience with Active Directory configuration and communication is a plus
Understanding of Kerberos and NTLM and security issues in general is highly desired
*Experience with desktop viewer protocols is a plus (e.g. VNC, RGS, NX, RDP)
Understanding of SSL encryption algorithms like: SSL v2/v3 and TLS is a plus
* Skills & Abilities:
English pre-intermediate level and higher (ability to speak over the phone)
Ability to write standards-compliant code that works across browsers
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed client expectations at every opportunity
Attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work
Independent and proactive
