Project Description:
Project aimed to provide all kinds of testing services for back-end accounting solution used by top tier investment bank.*
System under test includes many layers:*
ETL and Big Data (Hadoop);*
Accounting Engine (J-Rules);*
Database(Oracle);*
Technologies and platforms used within project: JMS, Unix, Oracle, Hadoop, J-Rules.*
Overall project team is distributed in locations: UK, Spain, Russia, Ukraine.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with UK/Spain based business representatives, Project Managers, BA's, Developers;*
• Develop and maintain project work products such as Test cases, Test Reports, data validation test cases, data transformation rules;*
• Conduct Functional and Regression testing. Verify that solution meets requirements and expectations.*
• Engage with Development team on early project stages to ensure testing process is properly detailed in the plan and handled with appropriate attention starting from Requirements Analysis phase and down to UAT phase;*
• Work on mastering business domain knowledge to be able to ensure quality in-depth on functional/business logic level;

Skills Required:
Requirements:*
• Strong knowledge of testing processes and excellent in defect tracking*
• Experience in requirement analysis (impact analysis, traceability matrix, functional & non-functional requirements).*
• Strong knowledge in test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, state transition etc.).*
• Excellent in test execution.*
• Hands-on experience in software development principles and methods (Oracle Methods, Quality Gates, RUP)*
• Intermediate English*

Technical Skills*
• Good practical SQL skills for data selection** *
Would be a significant plus*
• Experience in Finance domain (preferably investment banking)*
• Experience in real-time ETL (integration) application development projects** *
• Understanding data warehouse, dimensional modeling.
